Midgard Memorial

As more and more players seems to leave DAoC, it just came to me that making a Memorial would be an interesting idea (can hardly call it fun, even it could be wieved that way). I suggest that upon leaving the game you take a final horseride to Hagall and suicide your chars on the Faraheim deers in the groove there - we get a memorial of tombstones over lost heroes in the small woods there.

That sounds like a fine idea to me

Graves get reset once a week. So the memorial wont be standing very long. Nice idea though

Ppl asked for a memorial to Oggy who died IRL, but it was declined. Shame really.

We had a huge event where all 3 realms gathered (and eventually crashed the zone) to pay respect to Oggy, by memorial I meant a permanent marker, gravestone or whatever to him. This was declined as I think the coding is a bit of a problem and needs permission from Mythic etc etc.

Also, if you do it for one, you do it for all, and theres bound to be some arsehole who thinks its funny to fake it for the fame and glory.
