Unfortunately, with the amount of hardware sites, wannabe hardware sites, Toms Hardwares' Advanced Bullshitting for Beginners (apparently) etc : such information is common knowledge.

Whereas your information may well be useful, it is more likely to trigger an influx of negative comments to your part, because your average gamer these days has already maxed the performance of their Geforce whatever, overclocked it to silly figures and getting obscene framerates even with FSAA on.

FYI though, any geforce 4 ti will take little to no performance hit when enabling 2x FSAA, ditto for the newer Radeons (make your graphics whiter than white at only 40 degrees!) etc.

You might however find a better reception in the Hardware/Technation forums.

I say thank you for that useful information MIDER{KEA}. I think i'll try some of that out tonight. Y'see, this kind of thing helps those who don't know the first thing about computer hardware etc, i.e. me. The thought wouldn't have crossed my mind to even try to look on how to maximise performance through anti-aliasing.

Just don't do it too often.;)

I agree. Elizabeth Shannon is very very easy on the eye, though and I liked the Good Will Hunting II scene. Fond of the self-depriating jokes that Affleck makes but on the whole it goes way overboard with it all and I found myself cringing more than laughing.

For the record, my top Smith list is:
