Mid insta party...

Just came from Thidranki and now I'm getting at bit bored...
I can live with all those shadowzerkers sneaking around (owning my butt... ) , but what is really starting to bug me, is that mids seem to have an instant version of every spell in the book...

Some mid shows up and you get ready for combat. "Bzzzt", snare, "bzzzt", DD, "bzzzt" again, mez.... Casting time? Huh, what's that?
Only thing I haven't seen in instant form is a rune master bolt...

Mez is a bit overpowered as it is, but having it in instant form is just too much. And yes, I know clerics have an instant mez, but it's PB, and they don't have speed song...

And if some mids start going on about lame albs, camping their keep, I can only say that you are right, some times at least...

looks like u ran into a skald... they have the same as minstrel ability to instacast 2 DD's one snare and one mezz

Mezz and Snare is 30 sec recast and DD is 20 sec... i think, correct me if i am wrong...

and the camping part is as much mid sometimes as it is alb.. so sad to see 5-6 albs at their keep and 10 mids (6 SB's) camping the keep... giving no chance for any realm to have some fun RvR...

Erm... minstrels have the same insta DDs (on a shorter timer...) and insta stun, which is arguably more effective... as u can then cast mez or start hitting while ur target can do nothing... On top of that their mez lasts a lot longer than that of the skalds and they can run around while casting it, and it can be used with no timer...

Clerics mez is not only PB its also AOE... I've seen 10 people totally taken out of a battle cos some cleric runs in and insta pbaoe mezzes the lot... and they have 2 insta heals to make up for the lack of speed, not to mention smite...

Dont try telling me midgard is overpowered in the CC department, the only decent mezzers are healers and there's a major lack of them in midgard

Btw the skald's mez in thidranki is only 18sec, im sure u can live with it

Minstrel stun - very short (thank god they get mezz even though it takes ages to cast)
bard has speed - mezz - rezz - DD

Cleric is gonna get hit by the nerf stick BIGtime - atm almost no new clerics coming up compared to other classes in alb

See albs get almost all the goodies the other realms get but they are spread over 3 characters while other realms get em in a nice bundle.

Debuffs are coming instant to all classes afaik.

Healer has way too many instants

healers have insta heal and insta heal group.. that is not much... if u compare with some alb/hib "fighter" classes later on in the game...

Clerics get nerfed 10% (was 22% but changed, i think ) and thats because everyone did a smiter (non rejuv) cleric and imho thats not a cleric (DnD killed the SmiteCleric )

Well a cleric poited out to me that it costs less mana to smite X times then to use one big heal ... how about nerfing the mana cost ... atm the cleric is the only albion class that can really compete with your casters when it comes to casting time by using the short duration insta stun giving the others a chance to cast on enemies.

Since when is having everything in one class an advantage in RvR? seems like the pretty obvious target then..
While hib is usually screwed when the bard is mezzed alb usually has a minstrel, cleric or god forbid even a sorcerer about that was missed by a mez..
