Seems MS have finally extended the offer of 5 free HD DVD titles to the UK.

Download the form here.

Titles include - Serenity, The Chronicles of Riddick, Hulk, Children of Men, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Troy, Full Metal Jacket, Corpse Bride, The Prestige, Swordfish, Black Rain, Dreamgirls, World Trade Center.

You must of purchased your player between 01/10/07 and 31/01/08.

Btw PC World are currently offering the HD DVD Player for £99.00 and Gamestation are £99.99!

Thats is a good deal but that must all but destroy profit made on the Drive leads me to wonder why are they pushing it?

dont think ms need to sell at a profit with these. they just take over that section of the market.

Will the HD-DVD drive make any difference using HD DVD's if you don't have that HDMI output shizzle (wtf, I have no idea). Clarify please! :|

A standard Xbox 360 Premium using component cables will look just as stunning on a HDTV as a Elite or new premium using an HDMI.

That doesn't help one bit ;( Would you need a HDMI cable to watch dvd in all the HD glory, or would you get one with the HD-DVD drive for like £100?

edit- Thanks Whipped, wasn't sure if it made a difference or not. :)

I'm pissed off now. All early purchases should qualify for this. I already have 3 of the titles, but that is besides the point. Grrr.
