The explorer 3 is a damn good mouse.

I have the wired version purely because I use it for games. I would take it over the boomslang anyday.

i use a logitech, some kind of optical

don't use a wireless optical, you'll need to change the batteries every 5 mins

well just poped down pcworld an tried em. the mx700 is the best wireless mouse about. it would have been much better if you could by a seprate docking station 1 for home the other for work.
but both the mx700 and ms itellieye explorer arnt as quick as the boom slang in games and much too small for me hands:(

Hmm guess if you prefer it, I did have that trouble with a Logitech mouse recently so I purchased another Intelli Explorer V3 to replace it :)

That MX700 looks uber. I'm after one for me birthday. I have a MS Wheel Mouse Optic at the mo, but cause of my desk layout the cable is causing issues. Wireless is my friend. And since it's all USB, if I do have game issues I can always plug it in and out as need be.
*strokes accessible USB hub*

The boomslang is too low profile. I got RSI with mine. The Explorer is more comfortable and V3 is ace
