Hi Dedicated BG0 and BG1 gamers.
I felt so strongly about the spell mentioned below i sent this off to DAOC. Am i right in complaining or not?

I have played this game for over a year and have put in a lot of hours gameplay. Previous to the type of alts i have now i have played mainly infiltrators/scouts etc - solo alts. For a while now i have gone into casters which has meant i have played far more with other players. ALL and i mean ALL - even the ones that can cast the spell i am complaining about think the same.
The reason i am writing this is because i feel strongly that it is RUINING the game play to such an extent you are most likely also losing paying customers. It engenders such a feeling of complete utter uselessness both in the game and towards the game in general that it is very much a danger to the success of DAOC. Name of the offending spell? - Mezz!!
You build up a powerful alt only to have all his skills utterly negated and at the complete mercy of the opponent? This really is unnaceptable. I have played along other players in BG0 and BG1 (where i go a lot) and everything is going great. Everyone is enjoying themselves and fights are hard if outnumbered as it should be. Then along comes a mezzer and within a very short time the players are killed and have logged out of the playing arena. They hate it so much they will not put up with it and leave!! Even a dedicated gamer like me who accepts death and just releases to get back in as quickly as possible begins thinking of doing something else instead? I never would have thought i could dislike something in the game to such an extent but mezz is surely spoiling everyone's gameplay.

PS If you also are totally pissed off with the above then complain or Jack SH I T will be done about it!!
Nodoubt some of you love this spell but the way things are going just mezzers and stealthers will be the only ones enjoying this game before long!!
