Metro Last Light

Picked this up today for £21.99 CD Key at simplygames.com, game looks stunning and it has been a fun game to play.

some screen shots in my steam profile if anyone is interested, game is maxed out 2x SSAA I get around 40-50 fps with SSAA turned on with v sync on, off i get 60 with v sync on.

first one was VERY linear, but a good game nonetheless, based on a book by a russian bloke IIRC

I wasn't keen on the first one, was very clunky and as mentioned, linear. Might give this a go though.

Yeah won't be playing this, the first one was really poor. Great design and atmosphere but the gameplay was utterly insipid.

This is a lot smoother than the first game for sure, but I never really had an issue with the first game yes it was linear as is this one but then again I didn't want an open world shooter.

If you fancy a shooter this is a great one.

Just a bit worried about the linear part. I'm into open worldies, but will at least try it on for size.
