I removed my hardrive for maintenance(fukin about)
and placed it on the desk, in a short but fertile, ponderous moment, I gazed at it sitting there inert.
The whole DAOC world exists on that drive, every Mob, character, hill, valley, dungeon, the sky, the sea, frontiers, bg's, the whole damn kaboodle.......... you get the picture.
All stored as tiny 0's and 1's, but connect it to a PC and a huge world bursts into life.
I'm worried, is that all we are too?
