Probably give this a hard swerve. We need a proper Metal Gear, but I don't think Kojima is that interested, so it won't happen.
I am one of the few people that thought The Phantom Pain was a masterpiece.

I don't know why Phantom Pain got so much flak tbh, I get it came out around the falling out with Kojima from Konami but the game itself is actually really enjoyable. I genuinely hope they allow a competent company (like Bluepoint Games) remaster/remake it one day. I still to this day play Phantom Pain now and again. We can only hope with Konami getting back into gaming again that they come to their senses and start treating Metal Gear like the royalty it is.
They really need to shelve the shit like Metal Gear Survive though. Metal Gear has always been about espionage, with the odd bit of supernatural influence here and there... what they did with Metal Gear Survive though completely bastardised the game.
