I think you'll find his point is that you don't like MGS games, but love stealth games. After Deus Ex (nothing comes close), MGS is the epitome of a stealth game, so shut your little mouth.

And the game looks fucking awesome - detail is incredible (note the bark flying off the trees as the bullets hit...).

MGS2 looked great, esp the cut scenes which seemed to be most of the game....the game ended up being utter shit so much so I sold it about 1 week later.

I don't see this being that much different, all graphics/cut scenes and no game.

the new trailer is a rite old laff, the GTA vice city bit was nice and the end bit with snake forceing a guard to reveal the release date was good too.

yeh i watched the 11min trailer, was good but put togther like a movie, would have liked more in game stuff tbh, the vice city bit was good. still looks nice, but the trailer quality is just so bad

MGS is still one of the best games around and hopefully I will still play it in years to come. The game totally blew me away. I like so many others looked forward to MGS2, I like so many others seemed to be pretty disappointed. Dont get me wrong the game is very good and well detailed, but the story and new char just didnt cut it for me. Hopefully this one might be more interesting. If not I wish they just got MGS1 and remade it with new graphics from MGS2.
