Mesh computers ! (rumour)

Heard a rumour that Mesh have joined titsup.com, but are still taking peoples money in the mean time!!! – does anyone know if this is true? Or seen any press releases ???

Word of mouth, from 2 folks i know, one of them got the impression from the 'call centre' staff after 6 weeks of un-responded tech support calls, that there isn't much chance of anyone ever coming out to fix - suggesting cancelling the Credit Card payment !!!. The other is also having a hell, and knows others in the same boat, and reconded the company had gone bankrupt.

Guess it might not be true then, (as there's been no press releases !) - Probably just using the same support staff as NTL: giving them a bad rep. --- possibly ......

From what I’ve heard – it’s the company causing ‘trouble’ for itself ! – they should look after their customers if they don’t want a bad rep.. – (mentioning NTL as a prime example – has any company got a worse reputation than them? – they still give a blinding service to many folks – but their support dept lets them down, big time !!!!!)

The Rumour was that they were going out of business! – which looks like its either ,

A. Turning out to be false, or
B. A very well kept secret for the time being.

The Fact’s are that they are pissing off a load of customers, and their customer support is pants. (which seems to be the case for more and more companies these days.)

The intention of this thread was not to dish the dirt or spread unfounded rumours about Mesh. It was simply to find out if the rumours were true.

But the 'Challenge Penry' has been answered. (just for those who couldn't be arsed searching for info for themself if they were so concerned....)

Personally I've nothing against Mesh - I've even recomended them in the past, on numerous occasions. I usually use them for price checking, as they've always got a prominent advert near the start of many mags...

The friend, who's been having a hard time with a machine that has arrived dead, has today recieved a tech support call from Mesh, and they ARE coming to fix his machine (after waiting about 6 weeks for ANY response) - so it looks like they are still in business at the mo. (but just very sloooowwww.)

OK - back to the first question. Someone that reads this board must know if they are about to dissapear. Probably someone out there that reads this may even work for Mesh.
so i ask again -

Does anyone know if the rumour that Mesh are going out of business is true ???? - or is it completely unfounded ?
