A bit old, but some interesting issues about the merc life after the light tank patch (inc to euro servers in a week):

Notice the problem with DT. Its not bugged but the utility for a pure damage dealer its more than questioned.
Why does a pure offensive tank receive a defensive unique ability?? New DTs only really affects tanks. In open rvr with fgs, when the merc role its to kill supports 1st asap, DTs has no utility.
Sure, its great in 1vs1 fights, but not as usefull as TripleWeild or Vendo, which both increase the damage of bms n zerkers.

Some ppl suggested the TL (me included) to include a proposal in his next feedback:
Change DT effect from a fumble to an AF debuff. That would give DT the utility it should has, both against supports/caster (increasing the damage inflicted to those classes) n tanks.

well sounds good.. but use DT on zerkers/savages who are hitting your cleric aint that bad either

Fantastic idea, imo...

Would certainly get around the fact that DT is currently only effective against tanks, while the Zerker and BM abilities can be used on any target.

If it was turned in to AF-debuff, it'd have to stack with the necro one tbh. Maybe change it to 90% nearsight... No more heals/n00ks :D

But then it wouldn't affect tanks... the point is that we need an ability that can hinder both tanks and casters.

quite worried if vn retards push for melee stuns to be affected by determination...

implications of it would be far reaching.

Agree, its a stupid change, and would be another nerf to casters who atm have to rely on friendly slams as a way to protect em.

True. Maybe ignore abs or resists (or atleast half of it/them) as long as DT is running.

Would love to see dt fixed or changed,the way they changed it in 1.62 to 7mins is nice but they made it work differently which sucks kind of....be nice if they fixed our special ra,it's absolutely shit at the moment,maybe give us a ra that costs 4 points and makes us swing 100% of the time for 60secs or something.....
