Basically its the age old trade-off of resists versus stats, and on the face of it Temp 2 has a ~60 more utility but some of the resists are doubtless a waste, so I'm looking for opinions. I have a current favourite between the 2 but I'm open to persuasion

how about option 3 good reists good stats no CB why teh FCK does a merc need cb ??? det 5 + soticisum ftw !!!! charge 3!!!! dont need any form of cc feedback!

Group template. GoLM is a nice thought but I find it hard to give up the utility of EDS and I'm already overcapped on +style/+melee damage I'd have to swap out one of Eirene/Scalars/Malice/CL weapon all of which are pretty useful too.


And thanks for your enthusiatic reply Martok, but as Konah suspects I am on mediocre funds at the moment, so 7.10 cloak, RoSO, the Kraken/Leviathan bracers/rings/belts, etc.. in order to get the utility you are suggesting, will have to wait. CB isnt essential I know, but the QUI/hits cap fitted the rest of the template quite well, and the feedback abilities were just a freebie so I thought I'd bung it in. There appear to be painfully few 'decent yet easy to get' +QUI cap items, if anyone can suggest anything other than CB, Gem of Fantatstical Alacrity, and DS mercurial jewellry (again, Sililia's ring is out of my price bracket I'm afraid), I'm all ears

how much excluding scrolls for artis are you looking at spending? one thing i cna make is a merc template cheap easy and good overal!

Excluding artis/quest items/crafting (got the crafters), and looking at just the jewellry, I reckoned on approximately 15-20p to finish off the template.

Going to scour the CMs now, bugged as they still are

I had a go at making you a REALLY cheap one in your thread, was it in fact too cheap?
