The Ring of Shadowy Embers is VERY low utility. Ditch it if at all possible.

The new Bracers from the SI quest are worth a look. Much better than even the Veiled Bracer of Eyes as far as I'm concerned. I recommend the Rougish Bracer and Bracer of the Strong.

If you keep the rest of the template as it is, I'd suggest you do the weapons like this:

Right Hand:

That will cap your hits and increase all your +skills from 6 to 8, and all you lose is 7 quickness

Edit: If you use the SI bracers mentioned above, you'll have +11 parry and +12 DW. You can then drop the DW on the LH weapon to 3 and raise the quickness to 13 to get the most out of it.

This is the best merc ring i seen and it's non unique,if you want to get one go north of fort gwyntell and you see 3 houses kill the family in the left house and it should drop after a while.
