Mentalist spec Q

i'm planning to go 45 light but..

should i spec 29 mana for the pwr regen / aoe dot / HoT or 29 Mentalism for the heal / cure mezz / mezz / confusion

no expert on metas, but for rvr I guess I would prefer the demezz option, while the other spec is better for pve? Charm grey pets gives you a solution to being mezzed and then you can unmezz others.

I'd say the secondary spec depends on how you are planning to play.

For RvR, the mentalism and cure mez are nice to have and I got the impression that many light mentalists have selected that one. This also allows some role as emergency healer.

However if you're planning PvE and especially without group, MR is nearly mandatory to allow some mana for nuking while controlling the pet. This also provides fully agro safe healing method with HoT.

i asked around about this one before respeccing boowen.. 48 light 24 mana is great for pve and nice for rvr as well.

once u get a nice rr.. say 6+.. was told to drop the light a little and respec the mana to ment for demezz.

but it is depending what u wanna do ofc.. charming pets is one thing but curing mezz another.

mana for pve, ment for rvr. You can hold a salamander at RR4 with 46/28 spec.

ive found mana nice to solo lvl myself but since i reached lvl 40+ im using the dd's more and more often instead of double dotting. if i were to start again, i wouldve been light first and mana second !
