Mentalist Mentalism line (Mythic version)

This is from Mythic's pages. It has not been long there so i guess Mythic really means this:

as in the single target mezz and the outstanding heals.. oh, and not to forget the cure mezz >.<

I think the class-descriptions is written by the teamleads and not by mythic themselves, atleast that is the case with the nightshade and ranger afaik.

heals are great -> healer in cloth = not good mhkay

try aoe mezzing in cloth :( pain

at least with heals you can use protect et al - mezzer hits untouched monsters - 3 resists = ouch :(

but yeah, cloth isn't good :)

I would have rolled a mentalist long ago but none of my speccs fitted... just short of getting the right balance... I wanted primary in mentalism... and rest in mana... with at least 42 ment with mr 4... its didnt quite fit (couldnt get mana specc high enough) or that would have been my main character.

bascically play as a CC mage. that can whack a good QC mezz on anything that comes to it... other than that heal, cure mezz and double dot their CC.

and I thought confusion had some good farming potential...

mentalism is a viable spec line if they just reduced the spec requirement down slightley on some of the 40 ish specc abilities on the mentalist line.

Yeah, give a more viable mentalism split-spec, I personally am going to cram in mana/mentalism and go with that, no I won't be that uber but I'm willing to play a class in a way I like, not just a mana bot but a reliable backup class.

I have to admit I tend to shy away from being upfront in most cases, I like support roles even if it's a shield bm with prevent flight perma snaring an enemy on a caster :D
