Mentalist first epic - The Innis Harper

Hi all

As part of my first epic quest (The awakening hermit), I have to speak to a Harper down at Innis.

Unfortunatly I can't seem to find him. I've heard rumours that an illness is hitting Innis at the moment as part of an event.

Surely somebody up there has the sense to not allow main characters in an epic quest to die for a couple of days as part of an event?

Any help is much appricated. Thanks.

Well when i did my lvl 15 epic there were no disease in innis but in connla there is one..

the harper can be found in the first house to you left when entering innis carthaig.

take a horse from connla or howth to innis and ride all the way to innis. hope i help you some

Tried that, he used to be there for sure but for the last 3 days he's nowhere to be seen. :/

Innis deserted

There is indeed some event going on in Innis atm, Harper gone, Smith gone, Healer gone.
Goa wants people to participate in events, that's why they always kidnap important Quest NPCs
Wait a month until the NPCs are back and finish your epic.

So if I wait a month and just level, by the time I finish my epic quest the exp and item won't be worth shit...

Kemor, any chance of an explanation as to why this is allowed to happen to people too low to do anything about it or is this nothing to do with you?

well i was there about an hour ago and Harper was there inside his hut with the chief, if ya hurry you should be able to get him

You seem to have gotten right trough to Kemor, the NPCs are back in Innis since last night....

Good to know everything is sorted now though. Quest done as far as I could go.

(I am cerebus, I changed my name because cerebus is inactive for a holiday)

This scourge rats business is a load of rubbish, I've been present twice when the NPC get killed of and at most its 3 grey conn rats

Plus the new healer thats meant to be there when the old one dies is never there

They've cycled through this at least 7 or 8 times now, its just pointless

*sighs*

Least I'm a master tailor now and don't have to rely on Innis for trading now
