Mentalist "cure mezz" spell, worth getting?

Some of you here may recognise the question since i asked some highlevel menta's online yesterday ^^, but since i didn't really get a straight answer i thought iäd ask here, the lvl28 mentalism specc spell "cure mezmerise" is it worth getting? and is it usefull in rvr?

Useful in RvR, yes, it is.

Worth getting, well, if you want to destroy the best specs currently available, then sure, it's worth getting. <this is a funky way of saying no btw >

lol - i will never respec for that crappy spell - before i can cast it and put it to good use I will be overrun or even mezzed

let them buy PURGE or GROUP PURGE

can't say that i by experiance can prove u wrong laryssa ^^. but AFAIK purge and group purge are on 15 or 30 minute timers whereas cure mezz is not, so clearly i can see that it can have some use for mezzed groupmembers, however i'm not quite so convinced i will live long enough to use it effectively. since i'm kinda new to the game i guess i will have to lvl a character high enough to join RvR to see how chaotic it is before i make up my mind =).

the respecc i had totally forgotten, and is a great idea. will i keep it in mind ^^

It's too high in mentalism, 28...can possibly get it if you are mana-ment and more or less ignore light, but manaments won't be as hot anymore now that almost everyone will get serenity. I did a little testing and it seems like pot/bardsong+serenity caps at level5.

Well as bards get it for free i dont know.. on the other hand I die faster then the mentas (read Qte stealthed menta)

well Dilandau_, as I said - I dont think I have time in RvR to unmezz someone, coz after a AOE mez comes a rush and there
is little you can do against it

I had already probs to get groups and i'm a light menta. Imagine who would like to have a mentalism menta in his group ? for heals and mez - a bard can do better ...

Actually a ment with high mentalism heals like hell Larger powerpool than bards i think, read on some sources they outheal druids. Then of course can' take much dmg. I have ment 19+11 and already outheal almost any bard/warden when in healing mood(not often, nuking is more fun

had totally overlooked the bardspells, but now that u mention it feldegast, i can see that bards have this spell aswell, which means to specc my menta to all the way to 28 for one spell is nuthin but waste of points if bards get it for free.

/me hands over the responsibily for the mezz-countermeasures to the bards ^-^

i have 17 mentalism and it is sufficient to keep someone alive as backup

Hmm .. I looked and looked, but can't find a spell that I get for free that is a counter-measure to being mezzed. What spell is it??

To clarify, this is not happening until the 1.52 patch.
