Like you ever use baseline dot if you have 45 light. I think 24/45/17 is fine tbh. Gets you crack3 and good nukes. Mez isn't that useful as bards to it better. Likewise any naturalist heals better.
Making crack up from RAs is never as good as getting decent crack to start with. There's no limit to the regen stacking after all.

Well you won't be able to nuke so I'd suggest going the whole hog and getting 48 mana for the last dot. I doubt demezz will be that useful - purge/GP will be more useful and bards can demezz anyway.

Am currently 24/45/17 and very happy with it.

Am gonna try 48/18/16 (not exact numbers 18 and 16, dont remember) on gorre to see if mana is something that could suit me, if it doesnt Ill probably respec to 29/45/6 or just keep what I got.

With 18 light you will get more than half-spec which means decent variance for emergency nuking and with MR5 I wont be afraid of the manadrain of the base nuke.

48 mana is a devastating DoT, however it won't kill by itself, half-spec in light and mentalism means stun-doubledot-nuke til dead is a viable mean of taking an enemy down.

well bard has to be at the front to mezz, therefore has more risk of being mezzed, cant unmez himself, thats where I come in (I have already been in many situations where a demez would have been handy)

I can live without max single target dot

reason I light specced for 45/24/17 originally was because DOTs were/still are broken until next week, ive been stun/nuke/nuke... for ages now, a change will do me good

my current spec is solo friendly, my new one is group friendly which it needs to be after 40

Naturalists don't heal better than a mentalist with 28 mentalism. Only a high regrowth speced druid can outheal you. Just that very few ments spec that high mentalism.

28 light: good boost for base nuke, hmm must test lvl28 DD, 4 out of 6 charms(noone uses them anyway), also have to test damage of the lvl 26 aedd

well im lvl 22 for now and love my specc in rvr and exping.

The level 28 dd will do less damage than the level 50 baseline nuke... but it's far more power efficient, it'll be better for xping but for rvr you'll want the extra damage I suspect. At level 37 with 33+8 light I do about 300 on even con mobs with the level 28 dd, about 180 at the centre of the 26 AE.

BTW ae dot, isn't GTAE, it's just normal AE. gtae dot would be insane.

I think you have missunderstood it a bit. You don't spec 28 light to get the 28 spec dd, you spec it to make you're base line dd much more powerful and stabile.

I understand fine... I was replying to:

He was interested in the level 28 dd, I gave my experience of it.

I didnt count on the 28 dd - i was just hoping that i could get use of the 26ish aedd from light. That would mean aedot and then some aenukes....well guess you cant have everything

Just spam the AE dot, the ae nuke will do about the same damage as one tick of AE dot, and dot has no fall off towards the edges.
