I have an Asus P4P mainboard, and 1gb or ram with it. Now i want to upgrade to 2gb and havent a clue what to buy, as i know Mainboards are fussy about ram.
I dont know the details of the 1gb i currently have as theres nothing on the sticks and it came with the system, wich was bought from mesh about 2 years ago.

So can someone help me find what ram i can use, what the ram is that i have, and were to get som more

thanks :)

A quick search on Asus.com shows quite a few boards with the same name - fortunatly they all take DDR400 memory. But will need to know some more info first.

Whats the exact model number of the motherboard ?
How many memory slots alread have sticks in them ?
