In midgard:

+ melee skill adds to: hammer, axe, sword, hand to hand and spear

Do not add to: left axe, bows, and critical strike.

The one at Mythic who didn't count left axe and critical strike as a melee skill must have been drunk ><

if you are using kort's spellcrafter just remember to switch the class to hunter, and it should show +melee to give spear properly

and zebolt, +all melee are the primary weapon skills, imagine the bonus an SB would gain if +all melee benefitted both weapon, CS and LA skills, you must admit that'll be a bit overpowered. besides LA benefits from +all dual wield

Some items have +All Dual Wielding skills, this obviously includes left axe, dual wield and celtic dual, but does it also include hand-to-hand?

Not to my knowledge.

CS and LA isn't actually a melee skill of it's own. You can't spec in CS or LA and then use it by itself like you can with the "real" melee skills. They're merely extra utility/backup skill for the actual dmg skill line. Same argument can be used with h2h here.. h2h is a melee skill of it's own - you don't spec in it to increase the chance of offhand hits or dmg in offhand hits, but in order to gain weaponskill and weapon damage.

Some skills are 'primary' melee skills and will benefit from items that give + to all melee skills.
Slash, Crush, Thrust, Sword, Axe, Hammer, Spear, Polearm, 2 handed, Flex, Hand-to-Hand, Blades, Piercing, Celtic Spear, Quarterstaves, Scythes, Blunt and Large Weapons.
Some combat skills are 'secondary' melee skills and don't benefit from these bonuses - All dual wield/left axe skills, shields, parry and critical strike.

Im aware of it. I still think it's stupid to name something + to ALL MELEE skills and don't include LA, CS, DW etc, cuz' they are MELEE skills aswell. If they only wanted it to be + to ALL PRIMARY MELEE skills they could have given it that name.. ^^
