melee necky

Any1 know a good melee necky without axe or la, tryed to do the ancestral secrets again do get the necky with 4x 10% resist, but just got 15g from the quest, any1 knows another good quest i can get a necky on? or maybe a mob that drops a good necky?

You are able to repeat the Ancestral Secrets quest until you receive all the rewards.

Note also: if you don't get ported to Aegir (you don't get anything in Aegir but the 15g) just don't speak to the NPC in front of you but ride to Dyrfjeld (sp?) and speak to Jago, he will give you the necklace even if you didn't get ported to Dyrfjeld in the beginning.

Yup, keep trying. It took my Thane 9 tries before he got transported somewhere else.
My Shammy had all 3 rewards in 5 tries...

hmm, Jago dont say anything to me, i got ported to aegir then i ride to djyrfell but jago didnt say something.
should i do it again and agin untill i get ported to djyrfell?

rioding to jango only works if ya pop anywhere else than aegir..
In aegit you will get a wepon first time ya fail and a load of exp but next times you fail (read end up in aegir) you will get a small potopn of exp and some money and to redo the quest again

I did Ancestral Secrets before it became repeatable and in the patch notes they said they made the quest tougher. Is it soloable, duoable or does it need a bigger group?

i duoed it with a scald.

mob is recon with 2 of you, and not very hard.

There are 4 possible locations where you can be ported to:

(1) Aegir - bad luck, you won't get anything but the 15g (and a sucky weapon on the very first run of the quest)

(2) Dyrfjeld - lucky you, just speak to Jago and get the necklace

(3) Knarr - if you speak to the NPC you get ported to you get the jewel (not a bad jewel btw - if your glacier jewel doesnt fit into your sc template this one might do)

(4) Hagall - if you speak to the NPC you get ported to you will get a crappy ring.

In case of (3) and (4) if you do _NOT_ speak to the NPC in front of you you can instead take a ride to Dyrfjeld, speak to Jago and get the necklace. If you end up in Aegir you simply must do the quest again, bad luck.

Regarding the Ancestral Keeper: from my experiance he pops as red con (to a level 50) in 2/3 and as purp con in 1/3 of the time, but even the purp con Keeper isnt that tough. You should be able to do the quest with 2 people.

Done the keeper with an Aug Shaman (Actually not a buffbot) and a Suppression Spiritmaster.

Hardest thing in the quest is to avoid beating someone up after failing the 7th time in a row.
