With some many games out tomorrow, which ones are you actually picking up?

We have kane and lynch, mass effect, guitar hero, sonic and mario olympics, mario party ds.

A few more as well, but those are the better titles.

I've got mass effect on order, was going to wait for kane and lynch as I still have not finished AC. Bloody need to find some cash and some time.

more than likely GH3.. although the track listing could have been better, there's some tasty tunes on it but could have been a lot more

Not my problem they had a preorder months ago they should of had enough tbh besides friend of mine placed his order a week ago for the LE and had it confirmed it was shipped bloody bastards. Also the fact if they had stock issues why was the money taken from my account 2 days ago. *grumbles*

That wasn't a comment about GAMe starmie, I know we had issues at work, I assumed any shortage would affect the whole of the country.

Well according to the reviews there is little good about Kane and Lynch so may give it a miss.

As i said last night to a friend who told me xxx site didn't ship his Mass Effect i have took no chances about not getting Mass Effect so i will be going up to my local Tesco which i can see from my house so not too far to collect my Mass Effect at 1200 :)

Add to the fact i have been waiting 3 weeks nearly 4 weeks for a game to come from Playasia and i assume its because the post in my area is shite lately.

I don't buy LE versions because i find the discs usually fall out of the holder and you start getting a disc unreadable.

I don't care really for the extra dvd or whatever you get it with because i will never even look at it :p

I figured Kane and Lynch must be shit as I've seen SO much marketing about it and yet know absolutely nothing about what sort of game it is, other than that there must be guns.

Ooo and there's a psychopath and a mercenary - how exciting!

Got Kane and Lynch, the controls are bit off but it plays very well in splitscreen co-op. The graphics are pretty poor but the story is decent and the game moves along at a fair pace. I would give it 82% on the 3 hours I have played so far in co-op.

Mass Effect, the first 2 hours are pretty slow as there is a huge story going on and there are alot of threads to pick up. After that you get out in your ship to a few planets and start blowing things up then things become alot more interesting. Visually stunning in places yet visually poor in other places as well. I have about 6 hours played so far and the story is developing nicely, the game is getting bigger and bigger by the hour as new areas such as solar systems open up. All in all I like it alot, the story is engaging and the gameplay is very good, it is all developing into something a bit epic. I would give it as 93% based on what I have played so far.

Those scores are my scores, don't compare them to website and magazine scores because my opinions are not influenced by advertising contracts or hype. My score is based on how much I like the game, end of story. If you disagree then good for you.

Got Mass Effect from Tesco at 12am alot of other people there wanting it also.

Anyway about an hour into it so far and i've only just landed on a planet i spent about the first 20mins or so reading my Codex looking at the timeline of things which i find very important in any RPG.

Love the character interaction and the way you can be a nice guy a total ass or somewhere inbetween.

I selected the Adept as my class choice powers etc are abit confusing and a tutorial is almost none existant but that isn't really a complaint.

About the framerate issue that has been cropping up so far i've notice it drop abit but it hasn't hindered or spoilt the game at all maybe it gets worse further on but hey ho.

Well after some poking at Game this morning I'm happy to say my issue was resolved and I'm now quite happily playing ME :)

Didn't bother with any reviews then?

Easily one of the worst games ever made.

Bleh, Kane and Lynch is good fun in split-screen co-op. Myself and a mate did a 4 hour run on it earlier in the week and it was intense shit. Definately not even close to being the worst game ever. Try Empire Earth 3 and you will see what a bad game is like, you might gouge your own eyes out after 30 mins playing it though.

It's a bargin bin game though everything about it looks terrible are those PSP graphics?

Targeting system looks retarded to say the least.

What has annoyed me most is that the trailers leading up to the game with the CGI stuff made it look really good.

To top it all off no ONLINE wtf were they thinking? split screen play was 4 years ago i remember trying to do split screen on GOW with my gf when that came out omg we couldn't stand it, hats off to people that still do it though.

IO should stick with Hitman really enjoyed Blood Money.

If your enjoying it though nowt wrong with that just think it should be a £25 game.

Ok so the graphics are firmly last-gen and the game has a few issues. The co-op game component just works for me though and I really like the story as well. As for split screen, you need a big assed TV to make it worthwhile, luckily I have a 50incher so it isn't a problem. Three of my friends have played it so far and whilst they have all mentioned the problems they all admitted that it was pretty good fun to play and enjoyed the story. As much as I love eye-candy I would trade it all in for a fun game with a great story any day.

I have a 50 inch also still doesn't do it for me ;/

I'll probably look at the new Ace Combat which is out now.

Is Ace Combat a long term exclusive to the 360 or a limited time do you know?

Mine sometimes don't get the odd game either but you can't blame the store if they haven't got any in ;/

A friend works at tesco as a manager and he says anything that is off sale is a top priority to get it back on ASAP.

We got Mario & Sonic Olympics and the Wii Zapper for Xmas, the family had a grand time on it, well recommended, the Olympics lets you compete as your own Mii and the Zapper is a excellent addition
