MediaPlayer Error

I have got a .avi file, but when i play it in MediaPlayer i get this error message:
ClassFactory cannot supply requested class (Error=80040111)

I've tried the .avi on 6.4, 8 and 9 but it doesnt work on any of them.

I've used other software, just incase it was MediaPlayer been a git, DivX, ZoomPlayer etc, and it still doesnt work.

Someone hinted towards it been a Codec/Filter problem, but i dont know what Codecs to get and/or fix the filter...

I've installed Nimo 5.8 but still no avail... this one has truely stumped me?!

well.. other people have downloaded it.. and it works for them.. which is why im confused...

Delete it from your "Temporary Internet Files" folder and try again

heh yeah done that and still nothing

When i do a search on Google for "ClassFactory cannot supply requested class 80040111" it doesnt show problems with Media Player, but Server stuff for instance ... i dont really understand so wont explain it incase i send you lot down the wrong road
