OK i have windows xp (no laughing, its good) and with it comes media player XP.
However, for somereason in the last 3 days it has lost the abilty to build itself a media library. AND! when i go to search my 'music' folder its has the following error.

An error occured while searching for media. The drive you selected may be invalid or unreadable.

Now at first i though FUCK my hard drives dieing, but after much scanning it seems my Hard disk is fine. then i make media player seach a CD.

An error occured while searching for media. The drive you selected may be invalid or unreadable.

Then a network drive

An error occured while searching for media. The drive you selected may be invalid or unreadable.

then loads of different locations

An error occured while searching for media. The drive you selected may be invalid or unreadable.

Now i thought hmmmm, obviously media players bust, i know i will just unistall and reinstall.
2 hours later !?!"£!?!?!"£ WTF do i go to reinstall the bloody thing ahhhhhhhh. :(

Any ideas :)
