No he still pays an undisclosed amount in maintance for the kid but he also has to pay the child herself £35,000 a year to a 4 year old child! The judge must be fucking barmy.

If I were the judge, i'd have had someone appointed to go through receipts. First time that cash got use for anything other than the kid (i.e. her charities) then i'd have the settlement cut to fuck all and the kid handed over to Macca. She did fuck all for his career, and we all know it. I'd have said "Money for the child only, and a meager cash settlement for her. He's allowed unrestricted access, and the first time you fuck up missus, she taken off you and handed over to sir paul."

Not to sound heartless or anything but they were only married 4 years, only have ONE child together, and only has her charity work as her so called 'claim to fame', as well as a model for wooden legs apparently.

She did nothing to enhance his fortune, and I don't see why she's staking a claim to any of it. I will however guarantee that she'll be there, a fake tear in her eye, when he dies and she's at the reading of the will. She'll probobly contest it in court if she gets nothing.

nope, its payed to the parent IN CARE of the child. The child herself is the bargaining point, NOT the recipricant.

Hmm, must be a bit different out there. I'm quite sure in Finland childcare money, is actually monitored a bit.

Then i can see a bit of a "iffy" point to that part. Should be put to a bank account, given to the kid at 18-21, and only for the mother to be allowed to withdraw the necessery amount of cash.

Thats the problem, she shouldn't be allowed to spend that cash on her charities. The thing is, the money we are talking about is what SHE gets, legally, for being Mrs Macca for four years.

The 35,000 a year is the daughters money. Until we know more, we can't realy say just what cash has been given over for HER and whats there for the care of the child. He's also paying for a nanny too, which makes me wonder just who she actualy answers too?

Its a divorce involving a national icon, so naturally, we're all curios.

Two things that do worry me though, 1) During the interview afterwards she said "everybody knows he's worth 800 million. Erm, I didn't, and more to the point, why is that relevant? 2) He gets to fly first class be she will have to fly coach... So.... she plans to take the kid out of the country....often? To her pet charities? Places that are infested with disease, death and gun totting warlords? Your going to take a girl thats worth millions to countries were kidnapping is part of the national budget? Just HOW often? Who pays for the girls security?
