Oh man!

I didn't find any of them.

Apart from the newsreader bit and the guys talking about Bullet Time but I don't think they count as Easter Eggs.

Easter Eggs and funny bits...

On the car park level, when you turn on the radio, the speech you hear is an actual phone interview about Max Payne at the E3 convention.

oh right

always seems to be a problem with my 4 speaker output when max faces a certain direction voice sound seems to disappear until you move back so I only heard someone saying it rocks and then doing a impression of someone...

Easter egg #1, #2 and #3 are.....

There are a lot of references in the game that mimic the things we do in real life or the games we play. Living in Finland, I see alot of influence on the game by the programmers... Re: the advertisment in the game (Soomi Winters)
They are making fun how we pronounce finnish words in english. (Soomi = Suomi) Suomi is the country name for Finland.. (Hence, an easter egg.)
Just to give a few more:

#1 is the hidden room in the tutorial where you get ammo and a machine gun.

#2 is on the second level, if you kill the guy in the final battle before he throws his grenade. Pick that one up, then run back to the start.
Throw the grenade into the hole and ....
Watch what happens then....

#3 try shooting at one of the ceiling lamps that's turned off. Shoot at the base so it falls and watch what the rats do next.. Check out
the mission objectives after throwing the grenade...

(Credit to SkravenRMD of the Max Payne Devteam..)

Cheers and more to be found....

WARNING: Spoilerish

One of the things that impressed me most about Max Payne (easter eggs aside, I didn't find any of them :( ) is how theres a lot of "real life" dialogue in the game. I particularly loved the bit where you shoot the water cistern, it falls through the floor and if you stand above the hole you can hear them saying stuff along the lines of:

"Jesus I thought that was a bomb"
"Nah, that's been waitin' to happen"
"I thought that was a bomb for sure"

..etc.

..and the bit where one (of 3) bad guys spots you, lets off a shot before running down a side corridor. If you listen in you can hear them saying (roughly):

"It's Max Payne!"
"You get him!"
"No, you get him!"

Really brings the game alive :)

My favourite dialogue:

"He had a baseball bat, and I was tied to a chair. The smart thing to do would be to piss him off".

so true!

I've noticed that one tag of graffiti throughtout the game says 'Remedy'. Its mainly red with a dash of white!

And i liked the reference to John Woo found at the Laundry section. :)

The pulp fiction style bit where u shoot the bloke as he comes out of the toilet.

*spoiler*

okay everyone not wanting to be spoiled left?

On the very last chapter just before u go to the roof to kill horne, you have to fight the 4 gaurds in the long main office. Two of them are talking:
(aporximetly went like this)

"I'm not a bad man. I mean I have a wife and kid at home"

"yeah sure"

"I dont like killing people, but its a job and I have a family to support. Its just another 9 to 5 gig"

"Well its not exactly 9 - 5"

I felt that much better killing him after that.

At Part 1 chapter 2, you start off the level in a hallway. directly to your right, is a hole in the bricks. Thats where you toss the grenade. "But" when you start the level, you have no grenades. So you have to play through the level until you get to the upper (newer) subways and kill a guy who has a grenade. Then you get the grenade and you can go back to the very beginning of the level, and toss the grenade in that hole in the bricks. Then start going towards the end of the level, and the first set of rats you encounter will draw down on you. You'll come up a set of stairs, and there they'll be. If you look to the ceiling to your right, on the right side of the partition, there will be a ceiling lamp that is off. If you shoot it down, the lamp will fall and the rats do something "magical."

Okay i did the rat thing.

They atatck u with guns all good.

However I tried several times to shoot the lamp down to promote something magical.

Nothingahpens they just continue shooting me, i tried shooting it down after killing them, shooting it before i shot them, shooting it while they were mauling me, nothing everytime.

If a movie followed the same plot as the game, I would definitely pay good money to watch it. The game plot is excellent and would translate nicely to a Hollywood epic.

It's about time another film used the Bullet Time tech anyway.

Question is: who would play the lead? My money would be on Gary Sinise

If he was younger, Kurt Russell would do a good job.
