Can anyone help me out with this and explain it a bit better to me please?

Does MoS work against assassin classes? I do info on the RA on the Trainer and it suggests a character with detect hidden is immune, and it cerrtainly does seem that way. I'm RR3 and one bub from 45 so I'm playing in Leirvik till I ding. For my final RA I got MoS4 - I can see scouts from a long, long way off now - even the ones woh have MoS3. However, I do have problems seeing Infs/NS.

I was under the impression, from all the ranting, that MoS4/5 basically made it so an archer can see assassins the same way they can see other scouts - but it doesn't seem so to me...

But my mate - level 50 RR6 sb who has max stealth and MoS3 - says he gets seen on the floor from the Castle walls by scouts, and they just kill him from almost max range. Thing is I dont see how this can be! I know I'm only going on the BG levels here but even so I was max stealth and MoS3, and I don't see people from a very long range. Sure I can normally get a shot in on them, but most assassins seem to see me at the same time I see them - from melee range.
I even went to the final BG with RR3 and MoS4 to try it out. It gave me the edge over other archers that had MoS3 in a big way. I could see them and they didn't see me at all from a long way off. But with assassins, again I just had to tank them.

So how can he be getting seen from really long range by scouts if he has MoS?

I don't understand! Help.

the ones with detect hidden are not immune to it, they just dont get effected by it so much, inf/sb/ns etc, they dont get seen as easy as every one else, but think this way,

scout with MoS5, can see a ranger at 40% further range, (these numbers are made up on the spot for the example)

that same scout, would see a NS at about 30%, at least i think thats how it works, and from my experience on NF when it was on gorre id say that was about right.

So why does he see a ranger from longer than a NS? And how is it that my mate gets thwacked from keep walls when in my experience of MoS (even when I had MoS4 in Leirvik) I could not do that?

Also I read on the delve that two people with equal MoS cancel each other out. Can anyone confirm this, as I've had people saying it's not true?

A Archer with MoS have same effect against other Assassins and Archers, i.e. a Scout should see the Ranger and NS running side by side at the same time.

An Assassin with MoS only receive anything against Archers, i.e. an Infiltrator should NOT see the NS running with the Ranger before up close

Other factors that apply is your stealth and the enemies stealth, so if the NS have more effective stealth than the Ranger, you wont see him before he is a bit closer than Ranger.

This is how it is supposedly working according to Mythic, dont know if there is any bugs or anything that make it work differently OR if there have been some fixes to it, that I missed in patch notes?

Hm... so an archer is able to see a melee stealth toon at a range of 700 or whatever it is? And the assassins can see him too but ofc he just gets shot...

Accoding to the delve on the trainer though they're meant to cancel each other out.
