I have a question...

My Daoc book (ISDN: 07615-3945-X)

That book says that I QUOTE:

Mastery of Arcane: Increases effectivness of durationbased spells (+3%/level)

And The Camelot Herald says :

Mastery of Arcane: Your "buff" spells will be 3% more effectiv per lvevel of this ability.

I know buffs gets better with MoA, but does it also make durationbased spells more effectiv( like DoT).

Or is it any other RA thats makes Durationbased spells better?

Mastery of the arcane makes buff spells better, stats buffs and resist buffs.
Spell effects like dot or dd are covered by other ra's, wild arcana affects dot's, debuffs and snare spells amongst others I think.

MOA can help with spec buffs most, since baselines are usually at the cap anyway and you need quite a lot of MOA to get any bonus to the resists at all.

not anymore, as mythic just raised the caps for buffs to 125% of the original cap.

which leaves you with a basebuff cap of 62 and a specbuff cap of 93 at lvl50
