Who cares? Deus Ex previews are abounding now the embargo is off and tbh, it sounds brilliant. ME != DX, therefore BIN IT.

Deus Ex is like 300 years old, go away old man.

Gotta say, I did buy Deus Ex the other day for like 99p off steam, because I played it when i was about 4, but the graphics are so shit, it completely put me off, if someone convinces me it's as good as Half-Life, I'll give it a go.

Yay for people judging games on the graphics! you belong in the new series of The Only Way is Essex, not sitting on your PC playing games.

Oh Gwadien, every week you make a statement more ridiculous and unfounded than the week before.

I know

Great innit.

I didn't play Deus Ex properly, I did say that, I played Half-life like last year, and the graphics are even worse, I'm not basing it off graphics, but I can't be bothered to play a shit game with old graphics, lol.

Having played ME and ME2, I am now EAGERLY awaiting ME3.
And yes, that's Sean Bean doing the voice of the sniper.

I just want to see if I can get it on with Tali even more. :)

Bioware is more focused on SW:TOR to be honest. About $120-150m production costs, but they are expecting to make in excess of $30m profit every 6months on subscriptions alone with <1.5m subscribers. Likely that for the first 6months there be many more subscribers then that I bet.

So though it may take a couple of years to start really cashing in, but they know that it is that game which will give them long term profits that no other bioware game to provide, so I think that why some recent releases will suffer (DA2 especially - and ME3 looks to have got a pushback so as not to clash with the expect SW:TOR release quarter <if they make Q3>)

Who would have thought that a game released, what, a decade ago or more and could be played on a software renderer instead of a proper 3d card might look a bit shit now?!

Mental.

It's better than HL btw. Much. Different, but better.

Deus Ex on modern systems - kentie.net

Use that guide, and Deus Ex looks just fine. It's well worth it, more so than Halflife ever would be, it's a fairly unique blend of RPG elements and first person shooters that also offers you multiple approaches to every single mission, and since it's made before the current console generation you're actually rewarded for using you brain rather than grabbing the developers hand and being led around.

Deus Ex is a great game. Played it again last year, the 2nd one is a bit of a let down in comparison but the new one should be great. Looking forward to that :D

The dx 10 rendered linked from here is very good.

I've got a problem though, I uninstalled hdtp and now my saved games won't load :/
