Can anyone offer any advice on this artifact?

Hib/excali has been camped for 12 days and counting with no pop by a group of 4-5 rangers.

A friend who plays in the US asked a CSR there, and the guy said it isnt bugged, just a rare spawn (up to 1 week apparently).

Does anyone know of a way to force spawn? Is there more than one spawn spot?

Can it really be such a rare spawn?

I dont camp artifacts, but lets say so far I have helped equip 7 people with these gloves. In fact I had them twice in 1 hour, call it luck I suppose but this artifact is one of those weird timing spawns.


Got another pair 3 days ago btw on Mid Excal, if they are up Im always willing to assist in getting them for others.

got mine after 4 hours of camping..
got them when you could just stealth down take the gloves and swim away stealthed with the gloves
