GarageGames are currently beta testing InstantAction. Instead of having to download the full game you just download a small plugin and you can start playing games pretty much instantly. One interesting game you've probably heard of is Marble Blast Online! A rather cool video of Marble Blast (the main version not the online!):

Another interesting game I'm looking forward to is Fallen Empire: Legions - a bit of a spiritual successor to Tribes and Tribes 2, although that's more likely to be later this year. You can find a video here, and a couple of interviews here and here
