Map voting on BW Public Servers

All,

I have noticed a trend on the BW public servers, that wheneve a non base map comes up, ppl immediately vote it out in favour of a base map.

I for one enjoy playing different maps. It makes the game have a little more variety...after all, most of us play the base maps as part of leagues...

I personally would like to see voting for maps removed on the public servers, so that we can all just get down to playing the maps, instead of spending all our time voting to change them.

I thought that BW and WP had set up servers that deliberately included Open Call and Balanced maps due to popular demand.

Yeah, seems like every other map is Snowblind :/ If the voting disable is problematic, maybe get rid of the base maps altogether?

take it off public servers, it ruins the games.
Could do with some thing to even the sides up on public servers.Alot of the time sides are very one sided.

Something has to be done about the voting as baldy has pointed out, as soon as a map like Obs come's up it's back to SB over and over and over. Get's rather annoying after a while.
