Anyone know if this is a known problem/bug/issue? Seems that a lot of folk get it often (including myself). Just wondering if its something the devs are working on/gonna work on, or has it got to do with something other than the game or game servers.

Only time I've had this was when Virtue went down for a few minutes last night.

yup, it's indeed a known problem, but a pretty strange one.
occasionally half my party goes LD, but I never have problems (well. once or twice, but that's it) not even if the server lists red on the server select screen.

I've started getting them occasionally now, but I never got a single one in beta.

... Which is odd :p

I get them when my computer kinda hangs for 5-10 seconds then comes back to life. It pops up with 'Map Server Disconnected' then it recovers and on I go. Very strange but never actually been disconnected, think its some thing to do with memory, there are a few leaks, but i'm sure they will be worked out with some patches as time goes by.

Not noticed any leaks and I've had it running for hours at a time.

nah, it's lag bubbles. type /netgraph 1 to get a nice graph and some numbers like ping and latency (/netgraph 0 to turn it off again)

type /showfps 1 (and 0 to turn off)
to show your current FPS ingame.

the help in this game is actually very good, all slash-commands and alot of other stuff like supergrp creation, sidekicking etc.

Had it running for a good 8 hours the other day and it does slow down over time. Its not a huge problem like the old DAoC client used to be, but its definately there.
