Meet Tim. Tim has a problem.
He can't get it up.
Tim noticed the problem a few years back when he was trying to get it up after a night of heavy drinking. Unfortunetly for Tim, he couldn't.
"Yes. It's quite embarrassing and i...sorry..."
Evidently Tim takes the issue rather seriously, and we understand him. After a while, Tim managed to coe around and tell us about it.
"It's been 3 years now. I came home from the bar and the next morning i noticed it was down. Well, there was nothing special about that, but the fact that worried me is that i couldn't get it back up. My girlriend told me that it's ok, that sometimes these things happen and i was over-reacting. I knew something was wrong though. I haven't been able to do my work properly as it's always in the back of my head. I just kept repeating to myself, why can't i get it up, what's the problem, is it because of me?"
Tim is a healthy young man, age 24 and has the usual lifestyle of most of his comrades.
"My friends, as i asked from them, said that i should go see a specialist. Maybe it wass just a problem with the equipment and could be fixed with some modern technology. I went to see one and he took a look around. Nothing, everything was as it should and he said that it's probably a mental problem. Great, not only can't i get it up, it's evidently clear that i'm insane too."
Tim's co-workers are amazed by this also.
Bob: Yeah, i know Tim, known him since 2000 when we were studying together. I've never known Tim to have problems getting it up. He's always got it up, no matter what pressure he was on. I remember that he got it up even back in 2001 january when we were pissfaced. I know no one who was able to do that.
Tim is at a loss these days.
"I showed it to other co-workers and even my boss. They were shocked at why i couldn't get it up like before. It isn't that hard of a thing to do...no pun intented..."
Tim actually managed to laugh, before falling back to his, near comatosed state. The problem had a strain on his social life aswell.
"My girlfriend left me. Yeah, she couldn't take it. She tried explaining that it wasn't because of i couldn't get it up, but because i kept talking about it constantly. I know...it's just...i can't get it out of my head. Things got to the point where i let other people to try and get it up aswell...only one who came close was my boss, Roger..."
Roger: Yeah, Tim showed the problem and i had seen it before. I don't know why it doesn't come up. No other worker under me has that problem. With all else, they come up nice and clean. I don't care what the specialists say, there has to be a problem with the equipment if I can't get it up.
These days, Tim is trying other things to get his mind of his problem, none seem to help. Luckily for Tim, technology goes further every day and perhaps some day, this problem can be solved.
Tim has been working with a french company called GOA for 4 years as a server upkeeper.
