There I was at one of your ugly keeps having gone linkdead after we had captured the said hovel. 10 Mins later I log into to find myself surrounded by 30+ Firbolg, Elfs, Lurikeen and Celts with them in full control of the keep. I fully expected an axe in the face so I bowed to my enemy and waited for my doom. Unexpectedly all you lovely Hibs waved at me and danced while the keep archers played 'pin the tail on the donkey' with my poor torso One gimped Celt hit me for like 50 dmg and I am still luaghing at that The rest of you were extremely pleasent, many even /saluted and bowed to me. It was very nice to see a realm that aren't all realm point grabbers and show respect to a fallen enemy. The forces of Hibernia who were at the keep are a credit to our server I /salute you all

Infact if I didn't have so many long time friends in Albion and I wasn't such a good Thuergist I might have been tempted to join the Lean Green Zerging Machine

Aye, it certainly seems that way. Sad thing is I couldn't face the exp grind again so I will probably be cancelling my subcription in a month so. I may come back after the addon pack is launched but I honestly think I have come to the end with this game after 10 months of playing.

It don't take that long, get you in a few good pbaoe groups, get you to 40 in no time. See if you can beat Teador's time to 40

I must agree, after playing on Alb, Excal since day 1 of release I got fed up with it, and came to Hib, Prydwen.
Must say it was a welcome change, and about all the people I met so far are real nice & helpfull.
People accept you in group so much faster, don't care to much about lvls. People here come up from nowhere, and offer you buffs, items and on occasion even some money!
A helping hand is always near if you need it, and if you got questions they are happy to reply or even come and help ..

It almost makes me wish I started here in the first place, and not evil Albion ..

hibs are allways nice

it's the landscape, it just sinks into you making you over time develop into a really nice fluffy person

the amount of times i've spent handing out damage shields with my eldritch or been sat in some remote spot teaching someone for hours all about the entire eldritch spell systems, including all possible specs, stat modifiers etc... are uncountable, and you know what? i never minded once

nice to hear, nothing worse then going LD to then find yourself amongst the enemy!

Was there too with you obvious you had ld'd, so to kill you straight away would be a bit naff.

Sadly can't say the same for a 1fg of albs last night ;( I went LD hibside of AMG, after screen finished loading I was not more than 30% health. Albs were thwacking me.

Thought they could of at least stun, then bowed or something. Nm, hibbies came back for me and wiped them all out

I actually had to kill someone who had logged in after a LD last night Myself and Roni were hiding from the zerg and as a hero he would have battered us both or ran for help so we had to nuke him and run off before his buddies came to skalp us. My apoligies for that

Iskander, you were saying excal alb was evil? i think all of excal server is evil....most peeps are ignorant i came across there on hib and mid, i think prydwen server is far more balanced and nicer than there.

Albion is good here, most peeps are nice and alb is a perfect balance with some nice green parts like on hib and hilly type parts like on mid.

I was doing my 40th epic in Hadrian's earlier tonight, with a Cleric (39), a Wizard (40) and not to forget, our Minstrel-taxi (24).

Right after I had finished the last step of my quest, a Firbolg named Downanael (lvl 50, eh?) rooted the lot of us. We exchanged /bow's and /wave's, and then he ran away. No idea what class he is..

Then, waiting for the Wizard's quest to kick in, an Elf stops by. Cornell was his name (Nice dress there. ). He sat down with us for a while, then took of aswell.

The Wizzie's quest took ages to begin, so he logged. We went to suicide at Hib PK, when we ran into a middie scumbag (lvl 41-44). No /waving there. Started to put lightning bolts in our heads.

He died.

/salute to Cornell and Downanael for not buggering us while questing.

If I was rerolling or something, Id definitely think hard about Hibernia as my home. I started in Midgard, but had a look at Alb/Excal for a bit and hated it (dont know why just did) then I set up a Firby warden on Hib/Excal, who I adore playing. Such a shame Excal soooks as a server. But by this time Noita was in her low 40s and the prospect of leaving Midgard and starting again was just too much. Besides I think my SM is a lot of fun to play, and I do like Midgard.

Who knows? One day maybe...but by then I think most of the people I would like to team with would have gone to other things

When the PvP server starts Excal will be a much healthier place as all the l33t d00ds who spoil that server will bugger off to play PvP and get wasted by all the hardcore players from Prydwen

I love Hadrians for warfare, sadly quite a few Albions don't know how to get there or are just too lazy for the 5 min run through pennines so the jump to emain. Personally I used to spend alot of my time in the Albion frontier but I only ever came across solo greys or a large armies out to capture keeps. Never seem to get a happy medium of solo level 50's there bumping into each other

Makes a change. I went LD near the PK, log on to find myself facing the backs of 10+ mids... Luckily SoS was up and I made it back to the PK with only 50% hp knocked off.
