Who's nr 1 in the world atm?

Messi has the ball, gets tackled. Bounces right up and continues the play.

Ronaldo has the ball, almost gets tackled. He falls down, starts crying and yells at the ref.

Messi is pissing all over Ronaldo :p

Feared the worst when saw the formation, but we managed to hold it together. Very defensive game for us but we coping, however Barcelona just need to step the pace up and we be in trouble I feel. It is scary how little possession we had, but least Barcelona look like they having a training game.

Would like to see Anderson on for Scholes whom is commiting too many fouls, we also need someone to control the game and play some decent passes. We are so rattled we stuggling to put more then a couple passes together.

Should have been a second penalty, but often see them given outside the box but not inside, ref bottled it. Ronaldo made an unusual error, but i think we got the spot kick too early and coupled with the mass pressure it was too much. Went for his weaker side and it showed, however I guess he feels it may be getting too predictable going to the bottom left corner all the time.

Predicted a 1-3 result in man uniteds favour, dont think we get it as we nervous but hopefully we step up our game in second half and put some our passes together, because when we have done that Barcelona looked shakey in defence.

Park has the ball, gets tackled. He doesn't give a fuck, gets up again and takes control of the ball.

Hold your horses, he played solid and have been running alot. But hardly best player material :p

He sure has been. Deco 2nd best.

Iniesta and Ronaldo have both been some diving dickheads - again.

Van der Sar has to be the best, hes been the most consistant atleast. A very uninspiring game from Man Utd, but they're doing all they need to be to set themselves up for the return leg.

Yes, Barcalona have been playing poor recently, but bad form or not, a draw at the Nou Camp is a good result for anyone, especially in a semi final.

Utd were totally dominated in mid field for the entire game. Evra, Scholes, Rooney and Hargreaves were shocking. Was embarrassing watching Ronaldo dive like he was while the Barca players (especially Eto) just got on with it. No idea how they managed to draw.

dull game, training ground of attack vs defence. Man utd stuck to the task and got a decent enough result to feel confident about the second leg.

Gonna be a tough 7 days with the big chelsea game, both clubs can win or lose the second leg and being fresh will be important. I expect there to be a few changes in both teams for saturdays game, especially in the Utd midfield, and hopefully will switch to the 4-5-1/4-3-3 formation which has done as pretty well this season.

Didnt help hargraeves having to play at right back instead of throuhg the middle due to Vidic illness, but no excuses for the dull game. We just let Barcelona play infront and were more then happy with 0-0. Cant blame us, but for the neutral I bet they would rather have slept.

And personally, Man of the match is probably Evra. Actually showed he could defend for a change, and that the one thing I hate about him. More often then not he is out of position and puts us at risk. Today he stuck to his defencive duty well.

Utd were totally dominated in mid field for the entire game. Evra, Scholes, Rooney and Hargreaves were shocking. Was embarrassing watching Ronaldo dive like he was while the Barca players (especially Eto) just got on with it. No idea how they managed to draw.

Not sure what game you were watching. You talk about midfield then put 2 defenders into the list you say played poor. The defence was solid and Messi and Bojan didnt really cause Evra too much trouble.

Scholes was poor, couldnt pass to save his life tonight. Rooney didnt really get into the game, much running for nothing. Tevez the same as Rooney. The back 4 just defended and forwent the attacking side of the game. Cant blame them. Carrick was poor passer in midfield, like scholes. Very unusual.

Ronaldo went down easy a couple of times, and it in his nature to shout to the gods and punch the ground. But most the time it more at anger towards himself. Was a clear second penalty in first half, no dive needed. Second half the guy got the ball and clipped ronaldo. No penalty but can see why would claim.

And Barcelona didnt dive? Did you see Iniesta was it with Evra. Blatent dive. Eto'o... appeared for 5minutes in the start of the first half then dissappeared again. No wonder he didnt make a fuss of anything :p And barcelona had only really the Henry shot to talk about. For all the possession i was dissapointed (but relieved)) in how they used it.

Second leg all depends on who scores first. Gonna be nervy game, but look forward to it. 0-0 was a result i would not have even bet a penny on

Because hes been out for nearly 3 months injured, so need to take precautions.

I think whilst united went out their with a defensive mentality, I dont think they intended to play with such little possession. I feel our build up play was beautiful at times but it just lacked that killer ball, which will hopefully be addressed with Henry and Messi getting some more game time at the weekend and with the league title pretty much gone, it may give Rijkarrd the oppurtunity to rest some key players. Wheras man united have a tough encounter against chelsea at the weekend (who have selection problems themselves), in what is the most important game of the season so far for man united. Can man united play to the highest of their ability, in 2 important games within 3 days of each other? A truly champion team could.

But I fancy our chances. United are there for the taking.

3rd when Zambrotta butched Ronaldo from behind was a penalty in my eyes.. 2nd probably was too

But it doesn't matter, since he probably wouldn't have scored on either

An unfit Messi by plenty

did he get injured when he got subbed? I know there hasn't been any news about it, but he was almost crying when he walked towards Rijkaard. We've seen that before.

ah well, time will tell I guess.

He's just back from injury IIRC, not a great match to keep him on the pitch for 90 minutes in.

solid game from Van der sar, i'd say that's a great result considering the possesion and being at the Nou Camp.

Hargreaves did fine considering he was played out of position, Scholes yet again was a disaster and Carrick was little better, their distribution was so poor that Rooney and Ronaldo were left tearing their hair out. I felt bad for Rooney, played out of position and rarely given the ball. In short our central midfielders were a complete clusterfuck. Why Fergie continues to pick Scholes ahead of Anderson is beyond me, Scholes hasn't had a decent match in the last month.

Back to Hargreaves, why did Fergie not put Pique at centre back and play Brown at right back? Pique did a fine job against Roma and Arsenal but instead Fergie plays Hargreaves out of position and puts Brown into a role that he has never really been comfortable in. A very very odd game from United tactically, I am just glad it didn't blow up in our faces.
