Well as a football fan of football

tonights game just confirmed for me that when man u got all the players fit again they would never be down in the bottom half.

as for liverpool i thought you were poor, yes you came back into it 2nd half but never looked like scoring.

after the 2 wins this week i had a feeling the liverpool fans were getting too confident. there has been improvement but will take time.

as for rest of season arsenal will still win the league as they are the best team in the league.

It was a fairly entertaining game, but I don't think either team looked anywhere near the quality of Arsenal. I've been more impressed by Chelsea, Spurs, Bolton and even Norwich than Liverpool and I can't see Man U challenging Arsenal.

although I haven't seen the game yet it certainly sounded like it wasn't an overly impressive game by the standards of the two teams. I think loosing Stevie G near the end of the 1st half was a problem but nothing too major (and it looks like he may be out for 6-8 weeks with a suspected broken metatarsal). Kewell just didn't turn up until about the last 20mins or so, Luis Garcia was patchy at best, and somebody please shoot Dudek and get in Canazares.

Plus points probably the fact Xabi started showing how good he actually is (much to the annoyance of a certain forum member (possibly) ;)) and the fact that Rafa certainly shows a passion for the club with all his arm waving.

As much as I hate to admit it Arsenal and Chelsea are a league apart from us and the Mancs, although we do have the tried and tested excuse of it being a rebuilding season for us come the end of the season.

heh, it must be a sign of how crap we've been playing but I was well pleased with the perfomance. :)

The first half was top, we dominated and they didn't look at all dangerous. In the second half the goal caused a panic and brought liverpool into the game but we fought back and pushed liverpool back again. Some hairy moments towards the end but everything was ok. Their goal was fucking comedy though :/

Nice to see giggs turn up for a game eventually and ronaldo was a joy to watch. :D

I dont think it takes Hawkins to realise that once Man Ure got their key players back they would be playing some good football again. I have to say though Liverpool last night couldnt string 2 or 3 passes together for large periods in the game. Kewell is shite and I could get a place ahead of him. That Garcia looks a good player though.

And Mank, youve been impressed by chelsea? Man you need to get out, for me apart from the European game they have been poor this season for me. But its a long season.

They've not played exciting attacking football or amazed me with their amazing skill but they look a solid and well organised unit, which impresses me and I think they'll do alright - definitely with Mourinho there.

Duff should be in the first team though.

Yeh suppose your right, I think we have got used to Arsenal and Man Ure being "exciting" football and forgotten about the Arsenal of old. I think Duff will leave myself.

Utd have been playing piss poor this season (what there's been of it). Hopefully with the Scum beaten last night things are looking up.

I did laugh though at idiots who had decried Utd's season as a washout already.

I still remember when we overhauled Newcastle's 12 point lead with a meagre handful of games left, not a handful played.

It is still very early (doors) yet.
