Mammoth Hunt quest

Does anyone know what items you get ? I understand you get to choose things. Am i correct ? Cant find any usefull info on the internet about this quest (apart from allakazam about 1.61b modifications).

So what items are there and what do you choose to get them..

Do you get the reward after you wiped the Morvalt camp ?

no you gotta keel a mammoth after the camp is cleared, then go to the dude in dellingstad and he might give you an uber ring, if not you get a crappy thing. completely random

I had 2 chars with me on the final steps of this quest. We killed a Mammoth Bull and both ended up with a cloak with cold 8 spirit 8 hits 33. A nice cloak but useless compared to a Frozen Tundra.

Got cloak yesterday aswell, my other teammates got cloak, gem and a hammer. No ring

then stop whining and go do it again ffs its repeatable, same thing with ancestral secrets... but ancestral secrets wont be repeatable until 1.60...

Major Changes to Ancestral Secrets Quest

The long awaited changes to the Ancestral Secrets quest in Midgard are finally here. Here’s what we did to allow all players a chance to get the coveted Beaded Resisting Stones as well as the other random rewards. We have made the quest Ancestral Secrets repeatable. If you have already completed the quest once you may go back to Ota Yrling in Aegirhamn and get it again. The rewards are still given out randomly after you are teleported by Jaklyr, and you may only get each random reward once. Once you have all three random rewards, Ota will no longer give out the quest. The standard rewards for the quest have not changed. Players that complete the quest two or more times will not be offered the standard rewards at the end of the quest. Instead they will receive a small amount of experience and a decent amount of gold.

Other important changes to this quest:

- The Ancestral Keeper’s level has been raised. Taking a few friends with you is advised.

- The Beaded Resisting Stones are now flagged NO TRADE because everyone now has the chance to get the Necklace for themselves.

Mammoth Hunt is not repeatable as far as I know? Only did it once.

my reward was a ring with +5crossbow and some other laim stats..

i think its completely random or else i had a alb reward or sumthing =)
