Epic Zones Revisited

In a continuing effort to revitalize under-utilized areas of the game, we have revisited the three zones that contain the original dragons. After evaluating all three, we are adding new AI for all the existing named mobs to increase the variety of encounters in the zone, and tweaking the Dartmoor and Sheeroe Hills zones so they will hopefully have as much appeal for players in those realms as Malmohus has for Midgard players. In order to do this, we have decreased the scout range of all scout mobs in each zone. This should allow players to navigate the zone easier and lower the chances of having mobs aggro from distances that are too far for players to deal with. We have also lowered the spawn times of some generators that were spawning faster than players were able to reliably deal with.

was malmo today, malmo is getting unplayable like many servers in US allready is.
70% my bones lvl 47 LT was resisted against red mobs, i know mobs resist alott more after 1.62 but as you see from notes, idea was help alb/hibs go xp in epic zones, what happends? dunno how other realms epic zones work now but malmo is insane, mobs wierd scout areas, agro ranges, hard like hell get inside is there other safe routes? dont find yet.
thx for mythinc, atleast so far, ruining our only! good/fast xp area.
TG is one option to go? ianrviduar is one, other places? nope.

I think it's the total opposite, I get much more aggro after the patch than I did before, much harder to get in. and the mobs seems harder aswell. couldn't find anything in the patch notes tho about mythic boosting execs

It's the block/parry bug fix that effects how attackers are calculated against a monster. In a pbae group there are now less attackers per monster so especially spells are harder to land now. This only affects PvE in groups and against high reds or purples.

Good thing people are distracted by the /level command...

Rather the to hit adjustment not the block parry bug. If ppl in your group are not attacking mobs (or healing) then they give no bonus to hit. Get those lazy shaman or BDs who jsut sit down at the back and leech to get in there with their melee weapons. They won't do much damage but the hit count will go up for the tanks.

Remembers beeing 40-45 in malmo as shaman without endregen.. was soo much to do

This problem counts for lower lvls aswell, I was in musp yesterday trying to do skellies in 1 fg of 21's, me being a healer.
It has now become very near impossible to mezz nmies, cuz of this bugfix.
Since u have to have all to hit for a decent chance to land the mezz, there really aint no point in it is there?
These skellies were much doable b4 patch now they r almost only doable if u have brought a bot along u can root or summat.
Seems to me mythic r more and more driving this car into the ditch.

sm's hit for fuck all now and it seems like some mobs have been moved as well so cfh is more dangerous then ever

I think its good, maybe people with think about going elsewhere now.

fuck malmo, there is more aggro from players than mobs

malmö is allmost instaspawn red and orange to 50 baffing mobs, name 3 other places where you get that

Problem is the blockfix, which has totally destroyed any casting on mobs... mezzing mobs seems obsolete atm if trying to mezz above red mobs
