Malmo is broken atm, the list doesn't move at all duyring the week - hell you have to take a day off to get on it!

Someone mentioned the other day about other exping in Malmo - well i'm up for that and I'm going to try and run a list today.

Was it Yar? Someone let me know pls

LOOL you know, there is a reason to why betti was in g2 in malmo. We didnt have a healer high enough to stun 4 our Sup SM.
So we had the choise of moveing betty to G1, and a tank to G2, and the spot would have been filled anyway, OR we could lett betti be in G2, so "betty" could get something back for staying with us for several hours.

So whining about not getting a group is prety stupid, cuz we realy needed betty there, and i think its fair for betty to get something back for useing her time on us.

Dont you think there is a gernal issue atm tho Elex? from what i saw last night the tank list did not move between 4pm and 9pm for G1 or G2.

Hehe yeah the lvling goes fast at that lvl. And to reply to the other posts here, I dont think its bad that malmo groups go slow. Ppl should be alowed to stay for 12 hours if they want, that's dedication

And i know it boreing to wait for 5-10-12 hours, but thats the way it is in malmo now days. But one thing... why dont we start groups other places with the same range of mobs? There should be several other places we could Lvl up, but everyone demands to stand on that stone

Thats what I'm suggesting, thing it most ppl log near on on that there hill and - if like yesterday - the list is available on net as it was when wartox was doing it I could just get a group to log in and play while we wait.
I mean I know to the side of Glap there is a spot I've exp grouped before so there is a possibility. Thing is it's still 4 high level mobs at once. 2 groups of 5/6? Certainly a FG of low 40s isn't going to be enough.....
Anyway I'm home about 1630 and i'll see what I can put together.

Betty/Betti is really nice, and always been helpful I've found. Don't know what was going on in Malmo though just sounds like the usual shenanigans as the pressure cooker effect of that place starts to bring peeps to the boil.

Other places to XP in Malmo apart from Lair:

Lake

3-4 draks per pull, con mostly orange/red at 50. Yellow con draks nearby in huts. Fair bit of running around by puller required as they are quite spread out. There is a scout patrol that wanders past you have to watch out for.

H-Stones

3 Draks per pull, mostly orange/red at 50, very occasional purple. Sacrificers are usually yellow at 50 but nuke. Got to be careful to fight on hill as CFH can test even the best groups. You can do H Stones with 4 peeps, or solo if you prefer as I often did.


Yar

Like lair, just no downtime at Dragon patrol. Slightly lower level draks as no execs nearby so xp is less than lair. CFH as people get too close to spawn zone is most common cause of wipeout here.

yes,but i heard it's camped atm with a group of goodlucking lvl 44's.

Having lowbie alts in malm exp grp taking up spots = lame , doesnt matter if betty was helping or not and ofc betty is going to stay in the grp for hours taking other peoples spots while his/her alts been powerleveled. When I levelded in malm it was level 40+ or you didnt get put on the lists.

I took a break from Mid the other day and went and revisited my druid on Hib/Ex (lvl44, will go 50 regrowth if I take him all the way). Got into a group in Cursed Forest pulling Fins. Got to say I've never been so appalled by a group in my life and anything I've ever seen in Malmo pales by comparison.

We were focus pulling Fins and in the group were a couple of sub-30 lvl peeps, a mid 40s ranger doing nothing and of course a bardbot. In the entire group perhaps 4 people were actually contributing to the effort of pulling.

In addition to that, people were being told they could only stay so long because guildmates were going to show soon and they had to be booted. This fact was not made clear at the time of joining (well lets face it, who would join a group under those circumstances). Actually when I queried the group leader, he said his GM had told him to do this.

My druid has remained resolutely unguilded but that day I found one guild I certainly wouldn't be joining

EDIT: Forgot to say, voted with my feet when all this emerged even though I could have stayed in group.

Reson i went there was i got messaged early morning while crafting in hagall, they couldnt start cause of lack of cc/seers.
So i went and they even had two free spots in g2 so my little healer got one of those.

Betty btw was ungrouped while ccing/stunning for the two groups so didnt take up an _extra_ spot for anyone. i was allowed to stay for a while, so i did.

Next time maybe get your facts, and then you could always approach me, and tell your side of it. Im sure i could give you the spot...

As for the Hillo being 'noob list holder' , please bear in mind that some people are new to certain aspects of the game and realm, such as Malmohus, and hasn't been properly informed about whichever rules applies to listkeeping.
Atleast try to make people understand through explaining rather than criticising them a place where there's less chance of them reading it.

Oh and on other issue, i'd be surprised if Betty would bother to come mez/stun if there was absolutely no gain in it. So in my point of view, fair enough. Could replace with new CC'er when such one logged in but that is completely up to the groups/listholder.

XP group lists are the gayest thing in daoc imo, in exc/alb we have a sertain meeting point for the xp spots, there you can meet people, fill your group and go to one of the xp spots.
NO 5 hours waiting to just join that one group that has the 'list' but just form one and move.
