We have to get up malmo again... i see alot of ppl struggle without it, as df isn't open all the time and ppl are not familiar to other (great) spots...

I remember my first lvl50, back in those days (played hib/exc, but perma fins wasn't going on excal back then) one actually had to ask people if they wanted to group with you etc. I wonder how we ever managed...=)

do as we did when malmo came...
meet at west of skona for example then when u got 2 groups move to lair together, i am sure u can xp without pbaoe

for those who wonder, you got this nifty little tool called "find" with this tool u can find ppl, create groups, etc etc, try it, it might actually work

well the pbaoe grp ive started a while ago is happily killing at yar`s spot with 0 downtime and mobs die fast.. thats with 1 fg.
so the only problem is getting peeps back there i guess

Thanes are still FOTM .... ppl just find out when they hit 50 that it was a bad pick ... reckon atleast 50% of the players have a thane

its just to move there.
atleast once in guildchannel someone say "wow! malmo is alive again" before notice it was KN guildgroup.
someone need to start it, my closest char to malmo is 33, and as we all know, lvl 40 is the number.
if there isnt any action before friday?
i speak whit guild if we go there guilhunt and try put it again up.
h-stones and yar is easy whit some 50 in group if other are under/around 40.
send freely pm to me in this case, i try flag too for member/group.
ps. dont have thane.

ehhh..his lvl 50 chars prob dont need the xp..he said the char he had closest to malmo lvl was a lvl 33...not that his highest lvl char was a lvl 33.. Well guesse we just have to fire it up and see how it works , I'll be moving my lvl 42 warrior and my lvl 47 healer to malmo in the next days

Depends where you go, quite happily go to malmo at 33 in a fg as long as you don't go too far in.

well, was thinking guildgroup earlier.
went malmo whit my healer solo and only spot i get agro was before h-stones, there some axehand start chase me but like allways, needed just sprint small trip and mob give up.
hmm look today if move my healer there and start yell all possible ways, using NE /as and pm:s to other alliances so they know situation.
cc is anyway most important there and atleast sometime can give support.
yar was even old days ok exp spot, dinged yar whit my zerk 50.
hmm i imagine when patch arrived, like allways, malmo was dead some days.
when players went back, was frustrating how high resist rate pbaeo/nuking had and give up, same time saying all places malmo is "dead", so nobody bother go there anymore.
there isnt any place what can beat malmo xp!

Well i was down in malmo with some friends did Yar fairly easy
and all char in that group wasnt even 40+ the healer was only lvl 36 and a lvl 39 RM the highest tank was a lvl 46 zerker then it was some wariuos char betwen 40-44. had 1 lvl 50 Rm that did CC and some nukes. it wasnt so much down time so with 2 standard yar groups it is easy.. and there is 1 drakulv that have patroll rout at the camp spot he comes every 10 min or something like that. havent tryed lair yet... but i was on the safe hill under DT and the dragon didnt kill me as ppl say that she´s gonna do now.

I simply do not understand the fuss about malmo changing that much.
We did the standard spot with 1 fg Pb-xp. Never got adds. no more resists than usual.
It is just as easy to get out there solo and the hill spot is still safe.

Normal, Malmo isn't just for xp groups. Its been rendered worthless hunting for drops there - I used to go and do named mobs to get stuff for guildpeeps that were still levelling. These drops aren't worth the effort of several people and I used to hunt them solo. Now they have 100% magic resist. The items don't reflect the effort now needed.
Also, some of the patrol routes of the draks have been changed and they can wander close to camp spots if you are not careful. At Yar I think you have to check every once in a while for draks wandering close from behind now. Was there with a guild group and they ambled into the fun a few times to cause hassle
Regarding getting the groups going in the first place... yep as someone said its down to making those PM's, using Find and hunkering down to it. My healer is 37. If I hit 40 with him I may start looking to see about organising something, but don't hold your breath, I only play him from time to time. Tbh people sometimes forget that Malmo has tended to bring out the worst in people and I've never done more than a level or two there with any of my toons.
