Malignant Creatures - SI quest

Hi,

Has anyone done the Malignant Creatures quest for Albion? According to Alakhazam it is open to all classes 48+ but for some reason I could not do it. The guy who is supposed to give me the quest just will not talk to me. Do I need to make his faction friendly?

Has anyone else had a go at it yet?

He needs to be friendly, but it's also bugged. So you won't get the quest before patch 1.59.
