Making gold..

Ok this is something I've been meaning to post for a while now, mainly because while you get to 50 you ok for gold, then after you realise your not xping nomore and end up skint , so other than the obivouse farming, like rocots at df, or being a crafter has anyone got any good idea's on how to make good money fast?

Get a party together and head off to Malmo or Raumarik, only sites besides shredders in df where the spawns are big enough and drop reasonable amount of gold/loot, soloing at L50 just aint viable since the downtime will be rather big. Tho there are some greencon mobs in Yggdra area who drop around 1g a piece, snakethingys I think but spawn is rather small.

Need a grp for it tho....malmo is very good for gold farming also df.
Think I made most of my gold in malmo. Rocots still good tho if you are solo.

You could always sell the seals you get from DF to a crafter for a decent amount

easiest way to get money without mindnumbing farming is by getting cash/seals/items from hunts in DF

Got 80g, 24 dia seals, 28 saph seals on a 2 hour hunt (organised by Durgi) the other week. Had to hand over the stack of 20 dia seals for the realm hunt, but I was satisfied nonetheless


My group wasn't even that good, 2 lvl 50 thanes, a lvl 50 skald, lvl 48 skald, lvl 44 skald and a lvl 43 sb

The seals are worth 300-400g if you can get someone to buy them for a decent price. (or if you are a crafter, salvage yourself)

Otherwise, kill named svarts in malmohus and sell the decent drops (Jade moonshone cloak, Bloodbound Totem & Book, etc)

well me and efour (warrior and thane) farm umbrood warrior things down df, then split the selas after we finsished, then we sell to crafters for 10g/seal and make alot of money real quick something like 200g an hour maybe

well I make all my cash just by going to legion raids fairly regularly.. I tend to get about 80~ gold per raid, plus seals of 20 gold (bad raid ) to 600 gold (better raid). plus there's the added fun that I might get that armour I'm dreaming of one day too

Sell some stuff you don't use anyway. I recently sold 3 items:
- a flame wrought cloak for 1,5P
- a band of ice for 1,2P
- Ancienct ebon ring for 1P

in next patch, keep guards, and patrols start dropping money when you kill them

and ive heard from a former mid, you can get over 15p by doing 10 lvls in err... i think it was malmo please dont tell me thats true else ill be rolling an sb

I still wander the realms hunting solo. I find it a nice chill-out away from big hunts and stuff. Raumarik and the Midgard frontier still my favourite places to hunt.

Junior prefers Malmo, but thats because he aspires to being MA one day. (Maybe at the next SpiritCon, yes, that will be coming soon).

In Vanern, only the habgui are really viable for cash farming because of spawn rate and levels, though the Vanern hagbui are ridiculously far to get to for non-speed buffed chars just for cash farming and most people end up back down in the depths of Royston Vasey, er, I mean Spindelhalla.

Well Pudz, i`m gathering gold atm - best place is Jedis behind gatekeeper - a lot of seals drop as well as uber exp for sub-50s. But if you having troubles - come along - we'll allow you to leech a bit

solo orange con drinkers in df, drops 2 seals a kill and 10 gold in chests. (if ya lucky)

(made 200 gold in a hour farming )
