Major Spammage on thurs/fri

Well i guess we all gotta hook up and have a major server spammage

how about arranging a time and a irc chan (maybe #bwt2) and meeting up and letting loose?

just an idea (if its already been said point me in the right direction )

Shabazz, bad news. The Master servers are going to be down all day tommorow while they upgrade them, so no Tribes 2 online. If it is back up by 7pm then sure, i will be there anyway, but if not then i can make saturday fine.

dont need master servers just type joingameip (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx);
in the console and use one of BW servers

you will have a problem if they are down as it would mean the auth servers are down aswell.

I have just tried this and as you need to login to get through to a game you fail on login you fail on the game.

I imagine it will be back up by later though.

one other thing to remember
create a shortcut to tribes2.exe then give it this commandline

tribes2.exe -login username password -connect iport
this works from outside the game straight to a server.
be warned though that this will not let you use any community features within the game so its only really for testing servers and also quick games that you dont care about the community
