Magical bonuses changed in 1.48?

I have an Item that adds +1 to my Rejuvenation for my Cleric.

Currently my Cleric has 10 ranks in Rejuv, before the patch, with the +1, it would be displayed as 11.


Now with the patch it's displayed as 10+1 .

What I have noticed now is that even tho the total level = 11, I don't get an 11th lvl rejuv spell anywhere?
So, if the +1 won't add an extra spell level , what does the +1 actually do?

My first thought is magical bonuses don't add spells, but add to bonuses etc with rejuv..


Help please?

You never got any spells from the bonuses, it does however add power to the spells in that speccline.

Item bonuses never give new skills/special moves... they only add to for example damage in fighting skills or amounts that spells heal etc.
10+1 just means that you have 10 spec and +1... which is 11.

Yes, you are right, magical bonuses do NOT add new skills/moves but give bonuses to damage/heal amount etc.

OK, fair enuf, I can understand why that's the way it is.
It'd be a pain to code the game to remove a spell if you lost the magical item.

it'd be a pain for mythic. anyone else it'd be simple ;)
