Does anyone know at what skill lvl you get new styles using magic abilities?

E.g. Im at 37 in Thrust, if i have items that increase my Thrust to say 40 (37 +3) i should get another combat style.

Any ideas on how this works?

Any items hat give you + values will not give you the extra styles/spells that you would normally get at that level....

Your base skill is what defines when you get your next style/spell...

So to get that style at skill level 40, you need to have trained up to 40 in it... even if with items your skill level is say 43 (base 37+6)...

I was just confused, as i read that, for e.g. Inf train about 39 in CS, and they will get lvl 50 style at lvl 50 using magic enhancments.

envenom is the only skill that i can think of, where +envenom items let you use higher level abilities. (i.e. higher poisons)
