Magic Box

Just ordered a Magic Box for the XBox so I can use Saturn pads for GGX2 and such. Anyone got one ? Do they work well ?

The dreambox is a good PS2 > Xbox pad adapter. Very responsive and supports headset.

Beware if going for a magicbox to use a DC arcade stick on xbox it wont work properly.

Saturn pads is all I want

Although if they all break I can use the ASCII fighting pads (Saturn replicas basically) I have for the DC and PS2

I've got one - use my PS2 pad on the Xb for PES4 - not bad.

I use the Magicbox with my Hori SC2 PS2 stick and it's uber responsive, no lag at all (which is handy for parrying )

If I can get the NeoGeo emu working on XBox with Saturn pads on KoF 97 then I shall wank myself to a crisp

Yes you can.

I wouldn't bother though, it looks pretty but it's a bit shit. Get SF:Anniversary if you haven't already.

I played SVC Chaos in the Arcade at Meadowhall and enjoyed it

They had a test-Tekken 5 machine too. Was, erm, similar to 3 :/

Anyone Played Guilty Gear Isuka ??

Not yet. The new KoF collections are due soon if you hadn't seen, they aren't the best in the series but good value for money.

You still didn't say if you have SF yet though...

Have it on the PS2. Might get the XBox version too...

The PS2 version is trickier than I remember. Is the difficulty level b0rked ? It seems to make no difference. Not impossible but you have to turtle a lot to beat the CPU.

No. I've not yet found a Hori stick I like after substantial use.

Wow - it works pretty well. My GGX2 play has improved 100% with the Saturn pad

...now off to Lik-Sang for import games I think
