Anyone here play this game?

Browser/text based online Mafia game where you just do lots of crimes to boost your rating and gain rank etc

Started playing it yesterday and although it's not the most exciting thing (repeatedly doing petty crime to raise enough cash for a drug run) it can be quite a little novelty game to have running in the background while you work/study/be unemployed (like me).

We could try and make a game.net barrysworld crew, wack the godfather of a major city and take over (or not, as I hear it's getting fairly hard for new crews to establish themselves).

The main fun part I've found is the Trivia chatroom with the bot giving questions every 45 seconds or so testing my general knowledge while robbing a 7-11 every 3 minutes to raise some funds

I remember one I used to play called realthugz (or something like that), was quite fun, taking over the city with the rest of your 'krew'.

Also slightly annoyed I kept getting pulled over for speeding

You know you have a speed-limiter you can turn on and off that stops you going above 40mph? (kph?)

Or just floor it, man and lose the cops! Or open fire. Oh yeah!

I didn't like the overly-slow cars in mafia much. Especially not after playing GTA. They seemed sluggish.

hehe, fraid I've been infected by the GTA 'go as fast as you like' mentallity. I did stick the limiter on, especially on the important missions, but it was just a bit too slow.

Managed to get up to $15000, gotta find out the prices of different drugs to set up decent runs

Bet I get wacked before I get a chance to get going


edit: scratch that money, got arrested on a heroin deal and lost the lot

$308 dollars when I finished my 30 minutes in the slammer.

Heard there's a similar but better game out called Injustice but haven't tried it yet.

Tried both.
They're terrible, it's like trying to get paint to dry by clicking it lots and hoping something happens.

The idea is you play them in the background of something else.
It won't be much fun to sit there clicking 'knock over 7-11' every 3 minutes while staring at your clock.
