Yes the feared scrolls uke:

Tried the flask encounter thing, no scrolls
Tried Malice Island , just 1/3 dropped but dont need that.

And since most people are so damn greedy in ml 7 farms they'll roll for anything and then put it on their overpriced cm's, ml7 is not really a certain way to get em.

Ok , i'll stop whining and get to the point

Where do / did you farm mad tales 2/3 & 3/3 and what kind of group did you have? Thanks in advance :wub: .

try kill Taur Telete or Taur Purpheros they can be found on Malice island and can be easily killed with 3-4 ppl.

be sure to have a druid with you cause the mobs can be annoying sometimes (run when you try to kill them ;p )


thats where i have farmed 2 mad tales 3, well group setup i cant really help you since im a alb, but good luck farming them

I've been farming for those scrolls, and others, in the ml7 dungeon. If you bring friends, or people who are after other scrolls, it's perfect Just to tell em before that you get the first mad tales that drop, they get the first regarding shades/malice/etc.

last time i farmed them took me 3 days to get 3/3 to drop and then 2 did in 10 mins and no 2/3 even though i was killing those mobs which drop it. Got like a bub at lvl 50 from that farming session...

Your talking about 12 hours+ for one of those scrolls... i have been lucky couple times and got them within 5 mins of farming once.

It's alot easier farming 12plat and paying for a scroll that farming it IMO!!!

The best place to do it is at the Flask Encounter fortress though. The droprate is low, but in the end you will get one. We camped there with only 3 people, but a total of 7 chars and we got a few of the semi-hard one, but only one 3 of 3. You need 3 animists to do it in a fairly okay matter, 2 is cutting it short. You will get agro from all around so a bard to run and get the mobs with endchant is rather necessary imo.

Anyway, thats just the place we found it easiest, DV is probably easier but as you said everyone wants the scroll so its hard to get in a random roll.

Just kill enough teletes, purphoroses and altheuses at malice and ring of fire islands, dont need a group, just a decent char and bb. Eventually you will get it.

Many days farming at the rof island. All mobs that drop all scrolls are found there. Bring fopbot and yur fine.
